This book is an excellent story about growing up and discovering yourself. It allows the reader to connect with the emotions of the main character. At times, the reader may find themselves sharing those same emotions. This book is reminder to always be ready to learn new things about yourself and to keep in touch with what you already know. The book does a great job of showcasing what it can feel like to come out or come to grips with your sexuality as a teen can feel like. It is these emotions within the book that make it resonate with the reader. This book is followed by the sequel "Honestly Ben".
